Fun with Gelatin Printmaking

THIS was a ridiculous amount of fun. I haven't "played" lately as I've been doing shows, completing orders, hanging work, etc. So today I spent the morning trying techniques in Rayna Gillman's book, "Create your own printed cloth" -- and it was a blast. I didn't get too complex, just using bubble wrap, string, and some other items handy in my kitchen, along with a gelatin plate for printmaking. Simple stuff by any standard, but it was really fun, and I found a use for the extra fabric that I used to cover my dining room chairs.

These look awesome! Can't wait to see what you create with these (even though they all look fab just as is!).

Thanks Seth and Vivien. Like I said, they were really fun to create...and I'm still figuring out what to do with them!
